Naturally, if you just consider the FUN that was had by the participants and spectators alike in this game, you would have to call it a SUCCESS.  But I always like to go a bit further and make a rough "guestimate" as to how many "x"tra flakes were made before I personally make that judgment. 

Before this game started, I thought that if we could match the LAST Zero Game's "x"tra flake count, it would be a HUGE success.  The Zero Game 3 saw 30,000 "x"tra flakes made in 13 days.  As the ZERO GAME IV contest would last only 8 days, I thought it might be a stretch to have such high hopes.  Well I was wrong!  The Zero Game IV came through with VERY IMPRESSIVE numbers, thanX to folks like YOU!  :) 

Now as I mentioned, this is just a "guestimate".  To come up with these numbers I simply compared them to the previous week's numbers when there was not a Zero Game in effect.  Many factors come into play when doing such things.  For instance, the 2 days prior to the contest starting saw higher flake counts than the other days in the week, maybe because folks were already practicing their speed flaking for the arrival of the 8 millionth flake and the Zero Game.  Also, the first day of the contest saw the arrival of flake 8 million where there would have been many flakers trying for that flake, whether there was a Zero Game starting, or not.  But all in all, I think these numbers give us a very good idea as to what effect a Zero Game has on the Slopes!  ;) 

In just EIGHT DAYS, from February 21st to February 28th, the ZERO GAME generated THOUSANDS of "x"tra flakes as we started our journey to the 9,000,000th flake!
