RULES
If you wish to participate in this contest, please read the following rules CAREFULLY.  As the creator of these rules, as well as the JUDGE of this contest, I am BOUND to follow them and will make NO "X"CEPTIONS, (no matter how much I might like you!).
- 1 -  This ZERO GAME 4 CONTEST is open to anyone, (including donators), as long as they are signed up to my MAILING LIST.  Any flakes made AFTER your address is added to my list are eligible to be counted towards your OFFICIAL SCORE.  ALL winners of this contest will be required to provide me with an email FROM the address that appears on my MAILING LIST. 
- 2 -  Your name or flaking alias MUST be placed on the front of any scoring flake in order to claim points.  Multiple aliases will be allowed, but each name will be awarded points individually.  (You can NOT add points from Name "A" & Name "B" to claim a prize).  BE CAREFUL!  Spelling your name properly counts in this game!
- 3 -  Game will start at flake number 8,000,000.  A player of the ZERO GAME 4 CONTEST can get a "jump start" on the competition by nabbing this 1st flake in the contest, providing they do the following for me...  Put the following ad on the front of your flake, "x"actly as it appears here:

To do this all you need to do is "cut 'n' paste" the above ad in its entirety, including the "=" symbols, and paste it into your own note pad file on your computer at home, do NOT make any changes to the ad, including spacing, as it will appear centered at SnowDays.  When the BIG FLAKE arrives, copy that same file and paste it on your flake designs.  If YOU are the lucky maker of flake 8,000,000 and have the above ad pasted on it, I will award you 8,000 points for your efforts.  A GREAT way to start out the ZERO GAME, as it will put YOU way ahead of your competition!  If flake number 8,000,000 does NOT have this ad on the front, it will score ZERO POINTS.  This is the ONLY flake that will be required to have the MisterX.ca name on it to score points. (Not sure how to "CUT AND PASTE SCRIPT"?  Just GOOGLE it!)

- 4 -  SCORING
The following flakes with ZEROS as shown will score the corresponding points assigned.

 Flake Number XXXXXX0  =  ZERO POINTS
  Flake Number XXXXX00  = *ZERO POINTS*
Flake Number XXXX500  =   1000 POINTS
Flake Number XXXX000  =  2500  POINTS
  Flake Number XXX0000  =  10,000  POINTS
  Flake Number XX00000  =  25,000  POINTS

-OTHER WAYS TO SCORE!-

The only flakes with 2 zeros at the end to be personally scored by me will be flake numbers XXXX500.
OTHER flakes with only 2 zeros at the end can still get points though.  Collect 15 of them and I will 
award you 2500 points!  You MUST have 15 of these to score and can "cash them in" at any time
BEFORE the contest has been declared closed!  ;D  (You can "surprise" your competition, if your 
timing is right!)  ;)

BE CAREFUL!  If I find even one wrong flake number, ALL submitted numbers will be disqualified!
(I'd ALSO be happy to give YOUR 2500 points away to any flaker that finds such an error!)

"MAGIC" FLAKES
Magic Flakes have magic point values!  They may not end in zeros, and can be worth some BIG points!
Their numbers and point values will appear in advance on the SCORE SHEET, so watch for them!
- This time, even first place contestants are welcome to get these flakes and their points! -

DELETING COMMENTS
Be sure you place your email address onto flakes you are entering into this contest. 
At any time you could be required to DELETE A COMMENT that I leave on your scoring flake. 
Failure to do so will make the flake worth ZERO POINTS!

- 5 -  Scoring flakes nabbed by "Anonymous" or "X" will be deemed null & void.  Other scoring flakes could also be deemed null & void if I find reason to declare them as such.
- 6 -  To be declared a WINNER of the ZERO GAME, a flaker MUST contact "X" in writing within 24 hours of their score(s) being posted at the site.  Failure to do so will also make their flakes null and void, and score them ZERO points!  The winners of this contest agree to their identity and/or photo being published at this site.  Contest Rules may be updated as necessary.
- 7 -  This contest could be put on "hold" for any technical or personal reasons that I deem necessary.  Although very unlikely, you will be notified via email if it happens.
- 8 -  This contest will play for EIGHT consecutive days, starting with the creation of flake number 8,000,000 and calling that flake's date "DAY ONE".  The following day will be referred to as "DAY TWO", and so on until "DAY EIGHT" is reached. ALL Zero Flakes made with that date will still count.  The scoring will end when the SnowDays program starts assigning the flakes with a DAY NINE date.  The ACTUAL date will be posted here and sent out to my MAILING LIST sometime after the contest begins.
UPDATE!
Flake 8 million was created on Feb.21/09.  This makes Saturday, Feb.28/09 the 8th and LAST day of this contest!

During DAY NINE I will declare the contest CLOSED, update the SCORE SHEET with the FINAL SCORES, and will wait 24 hours to receive my emails from the TOP FIVE winners, using their email address that appears on my MAILING LIST.  Should there be a TIE for any of the top 3 scores, a "Flake Off" will be declared after I have received these emails.  Details about such an event will also be announced on this day.

Prizes are as shown HERE and will be mailed via FIRST CLASS SNAIL MAIL to the lucky and talented winners.  Actual items won in this contest will be mailed separately from the contest cash.  Cash will be mailed along with a card to each winner.  MisterX, MisterX.ca, as well as the contributors to this contest, will take NO responsibility for any prize items being lost or damaged in the postal system.  All care will be taken, and there hasn't been a mishap yet!  :)

As always, ALL my decisions concerning scoring will be considered FINAL!
