Here
are some permutations on Flake 4955937 by www.misterx.ca:
Mary used the very boring flake
above that I created as a
starting point. I have no
idea how she even found it, but I
think she may have used it because
it IS so plain.
Add a bit of color, blend it, add
a border, and WOW!
Suddenly my boring flake comes
to "life" and is hardly
recognizable. The center
has also been manipulated.
The above version has even MORE
life to it. This is be-
cause Mary added background colors
to my design. A
yellow 'sunny' center with red
along the outside.
This final image has got to be
my favorite though. Mary
adds a kewl red glow to the blue
border which creates a
real 3D effect to the flake.
It looks like the red color from
the center is lit up and being
reflected. VERY bizarre! :)

flakes before, I suggest you do
yourself a favor and look her up on SnowDays. It is easy to see why
she was such an inspiration!
Dear MisterX,
I
have been working on some flakes with Frogaholic from Colorado, Philllyfrogaholic.
She
makes superb flakes and I have been coloring them and other "stuff" in
Photoshop CS3.
