SCRIBBLED ONE CUTS
NORTH
STAR TWINKLERS
My North Star Twinklers are easy to make and, as the name suggests, they twinkle delightfully while falling unfolded.
As
with all my Scribbled One Cuts, it is important to remember that these
flakes really ARE scribbled!
Do
NOT slowly make the cuts on your flake, as this will NOT give you the straight
lines. You want to
quickly
scribble the design as best as you can, and as with any flake design, the
more you make the
better
you'll get.
HOW THEY'RE MADE:
STEP ONE
Start
at the "S" and then enter the flake on the bottom right corner. Make
TINY, closely
spaced
little scribbles and take them up the side of the flake. As you work
your way up,
be
sure to gradually make your scribbles thicker and spaced farther apart
from each other.
Be
sure to leave room at the top for the APEX or your finished flake will
be dull & lifeless.
DO
NOT RELEASE YOUR MOUSE BUTTON!
=====================================================================
STEP TWO
Now
bring your cut back down to the right corner and make the scribbles shown
in green.
Once
again, you want to start with very fine, closely spaced scribbles and gradually
thicken
them
as you work your way up the flake. Note the different angles of the
blue and green
scribbles
and also the "star shape" that the design has left on the blank triangle.
"X"it the
triangle
on the left side this time and end it at the "F" shown above.
=====================================================================
Notice
that my scribbles are NOT perfectly straight or perfectly spaced, but that's
what makes
each
one of these flakes unique. If you scribble quick enough, the SnowDays
program will
"fiX"
your scribbles and make them straight lined :)
======================================================================
That's
it! A simple and easy scribbled flake that is very beautiful, (if
I do say so myself!).
I
hope you will enjoy making North Star Twinklers as much as I do :D
