“X” already explained How to Make a Straight Line. I discovered that using that technique I can create flowers and stars which give depth and dimension! To achieve the feathered effect, simply use many straight lines…the closer the lines the more feathery the flake appears. |

Make a straight line which extends downward and OUTSIDE the bottom margin. DO NOT release the mouse yet! Continue the same line under the margin and slightly to your right.

Now release your mouse. The computer will fill in the third line!
(This is what the computer is doing when it creates that third line.) |

Your flake should now look something like this!

Make another cut using the same technique next to the first cut.
(Continue making your cuts side by side to achieve the feathered effect.) |
