Sadly, this is the very LAST Featured Flake that I will personally choose
for this section, (as the neXt & last flake will be chosen for it's number), but
HAPPILY, I can't imagine an artist MORE DESERVING of it than Shellie/NV,USA!

Shellie is certainly one of the most TALENTED people that has EVER graced the
Slopes of Flakeville.  Each one of her flakes are true treasures, with not even one
cut out of place.  They are always animated, and the shading....I am at a loss to
describe it!  I knew I would have a serious problem trying to pick a flake to display
here, as they are ALL worthy to be here.

I asked Shellie to send me a list of her favorites, which she did.  I went through them all.  I then resorted to looking her up at SnowDays, and went through dozens more.  I finally settled on the above flake, which for some reason just "does it" for me!  It showcases one of Shellie's AMAZING faces, demonstrates her incredible shading, is animated, and is also accompanied by a wonderful poem.  After recently deciding this would be the flake of hers I would feature here, I made a screenshot of it and went to save it, only to find I had already done so shortly after it was first created.  I'm taking that as a sign that this was the right choice!  ;)

It has taken me 5 years to get to this point.  Number 99 out of 100 featured flakes at SnowDays.  Shellie deserves this special spot, as she has raised the artistic bar of what is possible at SnowDays.  Huge praise is deserved to this incredible artist, and I hope you will tell her so HERE. :)

Shellie, what can I say?  Your "flakery" and artwork are second to NONE!  How beautiful and inspirational they are.  I am delighted to place you and this magical flake into this very last spot that  I get to personally pick for this section.  Many congrats, bravo, and ENCORE - ENCORE!!!!     - X -
