| -×- One of the really kewl things about SNOWDAYS is the ability to remain anonymous. You can leave your information windows on the flakes blank or, like me, create an online flaking personality and give yourself an "image" that the other flakers can paint in their own minds. THE SNOWQUEEN is one of the best "x"amples of this. -×- Often imitated, but NEVER duplicated, THE SNOWQUEEN is indeed an intriguing character that is both delightful and mysterious. When she makes appearances at Snowdays, she will "claim" people's flakes for her Ice Crystal Garden. Over time, several of my flakes have been taken away and I have gotten to feel as though I "know" her. She is a pleasure to talk to and has such a wonderful personality that I think it would be nearly impossible NOT to feel this way after a few conversations with Her Majesty. -×- I asked THE SNOWQUEEN to be a Featured Artist at the site a couple of months ago. She agreed, but REALLY wanted to be featured during her favorite month of January, when winter is in its full glory. Who was I to argue? THE SNOWQUEEN is a flaking STAR in her own right, and she shall get what she wants! -×- |

In
a far away land that is just out of sight
There
lives a kind, beautiful queen.
Her
magical world is all covered with snow
That
quite few human eyes say they've seen.
On
top of her head is a glorious ice crown
Resting
on her long, dark, flowing hair.
And
her eyes, although brown, are indeed cold as winter;
Her
gaze, a harsh yet gentle stare.
She
has a great cape with a train in the back
That
is lined with accents of white fur.
And
a scepter of ice she holds in her left hand
That's
composed of snowflakes made by her.
And
she wears a long gown that is silvery-blue:
The
hem gleams with white, icy pearls.
The
design mimics wind as it guides falling snow
With
patterns of spirals and swirls.
The
palace is made of a sparkling ice
That
is sharp and a soft, brilliant blue.
It
stands between mountains with snow-covered peeks;
Through
the transparent walls, light shines through.
To
the east and west of the Ice Palace doors
Is
a forest of tall, snowy trees,
And
below is a blanket of new-fallen snow-
If
you touched it, you'd instantly freeze.
But
how is there snow at all times of the year?
On
her friends does the Snow Queen rely.
And
she cares for her garden of crystal snowflakes
That
you've sent with a temporal goodbye.
Yes,
her friends here on earth do make all the snowflakes.
With
a wish they are sent to her land,
Where
they wait for her kiss, then are turned cold as ice
And
released gently out of her hand.
When
the Snow King stops by to visit the Queen,
(They
are truly the dearest of friends)
He
gives her the coordinates of where they should fall,
And
back to their creators, the snowflakes, she sends.
So
the next time you're outside and in a snowfall,
Look
down and up in the sky too.
The
Snow Queen is gath'ring snowflakes from her garden
And
sending them right back to you.
THE
SNOWQUEEN poses in front of her Ice
Palace.

----------------------------------------------------------------- Your snowflake alias, (as you'd like it to appear on MisterX.ca): The Snowqueen Where are you from?: I am from a beautiful land all covered with snow. What gender are you (M/F)? I am a female of course! Would
you like your age displayed?
Would
you like to leave any other personal information, such as home life or
work?:
How long have you been flaking? My first snowflake was made on May 5, 2005 Do you have a favorite style of flake? I particularly like making snowflakes that "flash" and "pulse." I am perhaps best known for my snowflakes containing "hearts." How would you best describe your own flakes and style? I enjoy trying new things but I also know the value of sticking to what I do well. I should like to learn more tricks in the future! Is
there a message or anything else that you would like to be mentioned on
your page?
