It has been nearly a year since I have featured an ARTIST here at MisterX, but have felt compelled to add a few more to my "HALL OF FAME" as there are soooo many AMAZING flakers out there now! PM is one of the first of a "new generation" of MASTER FLAKERS that have become regulars in the community since MisterX.ca was created. - × - As I remember things, shortly after the Christmas season of 2005, this ASTONISHING new flaker came onto the scene from apparently nowhere, making flakes with styles that had been previously reserved for the "Grand Masters". I was astounded on more than one occasion when I would see a flake falling that I thought I had made myself, only to open it and see this PM name on it instead! Naturally, I had to make comments on these "masterpieces" and got to know PM quickly. - × - Shortly after mastering the techniXes found here, PM developed her MEGA STAR method of flake reconstruction, (with some help from her daughter, April!). She sent me the instructions shortly afterwards, and I know more than a few Master Flakers were envious they hadn't thought of the process themselves! PM was an instant "hit" in the community! - × - I had always hoped that MisterX.ca would enable anyone, who was determined enough, to become a GRAND MASTER flaker. PM is my PROOF that this is indeed achievable. She has given me much inspiration to continue on my flaky quest to educate the masses in the arts of flaking. I was totally AMAZED when I read in PM's comments below that she has not had any previous training in art, as her flakes certainly state otherwise! Further proof to me that MisterX.ca's format is working! - × - I would like to take this opportunity to thank PM for all her beautiful flaky worX of art that have brought me so much joy & inspiration these past months. She has continuously worked to improve her flaking skills and it SHOWS! She is a pleasure to know and to flake with as she has a great personality and keen sense of humor. I

Would you like to leave any other personal information, such as home life or work?: I work full time at a hospital as a health care worker. I have a son and a daughter who are both in college and we have two little dogs and a cat. I have no artistic background whatsoever and one of the many reasons I love Snowdays so much is because it has allowed me to discover a creative side of myself that I never knew I had!
How long have you been flaking?: Since December 21, 2005, one of my favorite gifts last year!
Do you have a favorite style of flake?: There are so many wonderful kinds of flakes, it is impossible for me to pick only one style as a favorite. I remember seeing a face flake for the first time and being totally "wowed" and I still enjoy seeing them and how differently they can look depending on the flaker. Some of the most stunning flakes I have seen have been one cuts. Flakes that flash and move and morph a lot are always entertaining! I also like seeing cute flakes with animals, smileys, etc., because they are so fun! Any flake that shows how much fun the flaker is having, whether it is the design of the flake or the message on the front of it or both, is always a joy to find!
How would you best describe your own flakes and style?: My favorites to make are one cuts and faces. I also like making animated, flashy flakes.
How have "X" and/or MisterX.ca influenced your flaking?: "X" and his website have influenced my flaking in many ways! I learned the basics of flaking by going through his "flaking school" during my first few days at Snowdays. When I saw all the fancy tricks that were possible with the Snowdays program and the artistry shown in the Featured Flakes and by the Featured Artists, I was so intrigued and that is probably what got me addicted to flaking! "X" himself inspires me with his own beautiful flakes and has been very supportive and encouraging to me. His continual updating of his site keeps flaking exciting as new tricks and information are shared and explained. I am quite sure that I would have been one of those flakers who just made a few flakes and then left without realizing the magic of Snowdays had it not been for MisterX.ca.
Is there a message or anything else that you would like to be mentioned on your page?: Since my first visit to Snowdays and MisterX.ca, I have been fascinated with making these little snowflakes. I want to thank the marvelous flakers who have shared their tips and tricks. Also, many thanks to all of the folks who have made such nice responses on my flakes. I appreciate each and every one! Thanks to April for letting me monopolize our computer this year. Special thanks to the creative folks at Popular Front for providing such a fantastic site.
And most especially, I would like to send out the biggest THANX possible to "X" for this esteemed honor and, also, for his friendship, for his inspiration, for sharing his vast knowledge and expertise about flaking, for all of the support and encouragement that he has shown to me, and for all the hard work he puts into his most excellent website.

didn't know what to expect when I first clicked on that link to Snowdays,
but I do know that it has been a fabulous experience and I hope everyone
who finds their way there has as much fun as I have had. May we all continue
to enjoy flaking for a very, very long time!
