STEP 10: Rendering & Final Image

On the previous pages we have learned about the creation triangles and how manipulating them will change your fractal images.
Now it is time to learn about an equally important area of Apophysis, the ADJUST OPTIONS.  Here we can do several amazing things.

CLICK ON THE AREA SHOWN BELOW.  THIS WILL OPEN UP YOUR ADJUST OPTIONS WINDOW.

Once again a separate window appears, and this time it has ADJUST options in it.  There are three very important
tabs located here.  The CAMERA, RENDERING, and GRADIENT tabs.

Below I have clicked on the CAMERA tab, and this has revealed a ZOOM, X & Y POSITION, and ROTATION slide bars.

(THIS AREA HAS EASY SLIDE BARS TO USE.  JUST CLICK AND DRAG THEM ONE WAY OR THE OTHER AND WATCH YOUR PREVIEW WINDOW TO SEE THE FX!)

Below I have dragged the zoom bar to the left, reducing my image from its original "0" position to "-1.282".  As the preview
window shows, I have made my image small enough so the entire design can now be seen in it.

IMPORTANT X-NOTE!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ZOOM YOUR OWN IMAGE OUT TO AT LEAST "-1.0".  THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME WHEN DOING YOUR
"FINAL RENDER" LATER. (THIS IS THE LAST THING WE WILL DO TO SAVE OUR FRACTAL MASTERPIECE.  MORE ABOUT THAT COMING UP SOON!)

IF ZOOMING OUT TO -1 MAKES YOUR IMAGE TOO SMALL, JUST USE THE "SCALE" OPTION THAT APPEARS BESIDE THE PREVIEW WINDOW.  SET
ITS NUMBER TO A HIGHER ONE, THEN CLICK ON ANY OF THE NUMBER WINDOWS TO GET APO TO SHOW YOU THE NEW IMAGE SIZE IN THE PREVIEW
WINDOW.  PLAY AROUND WITH THIS A BIT UNTIL YOUR IMAGE IS THE SIZE YOU DESIRE.

Grab your X or Y POSITION slide bars, and you can position your image against the background.  These are easy
to use and self "x"planatory in their "x"ecution!  ;)

(GRAB THE "X", AND YOUR IMAGE WILL MOVE RIGHT/LEFT.  GRAB THE "Y", AND IT'LL MOVE UP/DOWN)

The ROTATION bar is equally self "x"planatory.  Just grab it and slide it and your image will rotate!

So, this CAMERA area is very easy to use.  If you look at the below image, and compare it to the top image on this
page, you can see what i've done here.  I zoomed out, used the X and Y to position my image, then ROTATED it.
SIMPLE!  :D

...and remember the SCALE option seen above!!!  If -1 shrinks your fractal too far, increase the number here to
enlarge your creation once again.  This may seem redundant, but "TRUST ME", you'll be glad you did later!  ;)

So that takes care of the CAMERA ADJUST option.  Lets move on to STAGE 7.....
